Haydom is not a big city, but an area with many small villages.
It is located on the highland of Tanzanias, 1800 meters above the ocean and
about 300 km west of the large city Arusha.
Parts of the road between Arusha and Haydom is very bad, and with Landcruiser
the trip takes about 6 to 8 hours in the dry season.
In the rain season it is partly impossible to travel by car. With light
aircraft the trip takes 1 hour from Arusha.
